FSSAI Registration

The food Safety and Standards Authority of India. This is regulated The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India which monitor the quality of food products being produced or processed by various food operators has mandated food operators to obtain Food License. All companies engaged in food activities must apply for different typr of food License according to the following parameters. This is mainlly categorised on basically 3 parameters are:

1. On the basis of turnover.

2. Scale Of Business.

3. Type of Business activity.

Type of FSSAI Registration

There are three type of Registration in FSSAI. This three categories are classified on the basis of annual turnover of the business. Price shall be different according to the type of registration you are elligible to applied for:

1. FSSAI Central License

• Company operation as importer or exporter in the food business, vast manufacturers, Operator in Central Government Agencies etc. Mandatory to have Cenral License issued by FSSAI.
• A company who is running food business form their head branch and serving their facility in other states for this type of company FSSAI is mandatory.

2. FSSAAI State License

• This Licenes is for SMEs like transport, storage houses, transported, distributors, marketers, etc.
• Business having annual turnover of Rs. 12 Lakhs.
• License issued by state Govt.

​3. FSSAI Basic Registration

• This license is issued by State Govt. and is given to small distributers, manufacturers, stroage units and marketers.

​Validity of FSSAI License

FSSAI License issued from 1 year to 5 years of validity.
